Can you Hear your Inner Voice?

Have you ever been confused about how to solve some kind of problem in your life? Can you hear your inner voice what is telling you about your problem?

Most of us feel very comfortable asking for advice from our friends, parents, or another significant person when we find ourselves in a difficult situation.

And that is OK.

The subconscious mind is your guidance system

But we as human beings have a kind of an “INNER WISE COUNSELOR” who knows every time what is best for us and very often he shows us the direction in our lives.

It doesn’t really matter how we are going to call it: an inner wise counselor, a voice of God, a subconscious mind, an angel voice or universe, as long as he helps us.

Unfortunately, most people are not aware of this and do not even notice this wise inner voice giving us advice for a happier life.

The main reason is that we are too occupied with our thinking mind, which is like a big unstoppable factory that produces thoughts by way of associations.

The more we focus on our thoughts, the more they multiply themselves, becoming more and more louder.

Imagine you are at a concert or a party with loud music and many people talking, you will find it hard to recognize that someone is calling you.

The same is with your “WISE INNER COUNSELOR”. You can not hear it because of too much noise in your head.

If we want to hear it, you must calm down your mind, be present and aware of the moment, and try to see the bigger picture. You have to make a zoom out.

This inner voice will show you in what direction you should be going, most often in a very unexpected moment, while you eat, shower or you are in a meeting.

If you are receptive to whatever comes up in your mind you will notice it. You will hear this inner voice and you will know what you need to do. 

Many people say that something inside tells them to do this or that (they have intuition), but still, they are not doing so because of the thinking mind that prevents them from that.

Technique to calm down your mind

At least once a day isolate yourself from other people in just 15 minutes.

Sit comfortably and close your eyes.

Calm down your mind. Focus on your breathing. Observe and follow the air how is moving inside and outside from your lung.

For some time your thoughts will disappear because you can not think and watch how you breathe at the same time.

In fact, that’s your goal.

Let the thoughts go. Remain only in your presence and pure consciousness.

By doing this you calmed down your mind.

Now you can ask your “INNER WISE COUNSELOR” what to do, or how to solve your problem.

Enjoy a little bit of this wonderful feeling without thoughts.

In the end, go back to work or whatever you have to do.

Some people notice in the following hours, days, or weeks that they’ve received their “answer”, perhaps in a very unexpected way. So be receptive.

15-20 minutes doing this every day will make a big difference in your life.
